The Bramble
The Bramble is a relative newcomer to the cocktail scene. Created by Dick Bradsell (who also takes the credit for the Espresso Martini) in 1984 at Fred’s Club in Soho, the Bramble is a beautiful blend of fruit, acidity and sweetness.
Our blackberry- and elderflower-infused Brancaster Pink Gin might have been created precisely with this cocktail in mind!
INGREDIENTS
Brancaster Pink Gin (50ml)
Lemon juice (25ml)
Crème de Mûre (12.5ml)
2 teaspoons sugar syrup
Add the Brancaster Pink Gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into an Old Fashioned cocktail glass over crushed ice.
Slowly pour the blackberry liqueur over the top of the drink and garnish with a slice of lemon and a fresh blackberry.
